Isaiah Collier amassed 17 points (8-of-16 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), one rebound, nine assists and two steals in Saturday’s loss to the Hornets.

Collier finished one assist shy of a double-double on Saturday, with his playing time receiving a bump due to Utah losing by a franchise-record 55 points. With Keyonte George (four points, two rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in 23 minutes) having the best season of his brief NBA career, Collier’s fantasy upside is limited. However, he’s worth a look in deep leagues for managers needing assists.

Brice Sensabaugh accounted for 26 points (9-of-16 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), three rebounds and three three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Hornets.

Sensabaugh’s offensive performance was the lone bright spot for the Jazz in Saturday’s 150-95 defeat. Scoring isn’t an issue for the third-year wing, but he has offered minimal value outside of points and three-pointers. Over the past two weeks, Sensabaugh has an eight-cat value ranked outside the top-150. While playing time shouldn’t be an issue for him when the silly season rolls around, the category-league value will be limited.

Cody Williams recorded 15 points (5-of-9 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), two rebounds and one three-pointer in Saturday’s loss to the Hornets.

Plus/minus is an imperfect stat, but Williams made the kind of history that no player wants on Saturday. His rating of minus-60 was the worst in league history (spanning 30 years of play-by-play data). He shot the ball relatively well, but the overall production wasn’t there for a player making his second consecutive start. Williams will have more opportunities between now and the end of the season, but he isn’t worth stashing for the “silly season.”
Taylor Hendricks

Keyonte George, Brice Sensabaugh, Cody Williams, Taylor Hendrics and Kevin Love will start Saturday’s game against the Hornets.

Lauri Markkanen is not available for Saturday’s game, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. Hendricks will fill the void in a move that raises his fantasy ceiling. Kyle Filipowski should still play rotation minutes, but coming off the bench does decrease his value.

Nurkić will miss a second straight game. Kevin Love started in his place on Thursday and would have some streaming appeal on a day with only six games if he starts again. Kyle Filipowski should also be in line for more minutes.

Nurkić did not play in Thursday’s win over the Mavericks, which allowed Kevin Love to make a spot start. With Lauri Markkanen (rest) already out, the Jazz may turn to a frontcourt tandem of Love and Kyle Filipowski if Nurkić misses a second consecutive game.

Markkanen is getting Saturday night off. His absence should lead to more minutes for some of Utah’s younger players, most notably Kyle Filipowski. Filipowski, who should be even more valuable during the “silly season,” is worth streaming where available.

Ace Bailey (hip) is out for Saturday’s game against the Hornets.

Bailey was only able to play ten minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Thunder, his first game back after missing five with a strained hip flexor. The rookie did not play on Thursday against Dallas, so Cody Williams played 22 minutes as a starter. Look for something similar on Saturday, and Williams is not worth streaming.

Walter Clayton Jr. added 12 points (4-of-10 FGs), three assists, two steals and four three-pointers in the win over the Mavericks on Thursday.

Calayton Jr. is enjoying a nice stretch to begin the new calendar year. Thursday’s solid performance gives him back-to-back games with double-digit points and four three-pointers. He logged north of 20 minutes in each of these games, which, notably, weren’t garbage-time minutes. The former national champion with the Florida Gators seems to be firmly in the nightly rotation at this point, with each productive performance likely helping him maintain his spot.
Keyonte George

UTA Guard #3

Keyonte George tallied 19 points (8-of-12 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one three-pointer in the win over the Mavericks on Thursday.

George had a relatively average game production-wise, finishing with fewer than 20 points for only the 12th time this season and less than two three-pointers for the 11th time. He was his usual productive self as a facilitator, leading Utah in assists for the game. And he was also active on defense, finishing as Utah’s leader in steals, ultimately helping his final line stand out a bit more. George has been stellar throughout his third NBA season and should continue to perform well moving forward.
