ESPN’s Shams Charania reports Kawhi Leonard has agreed to a two-year, $115 million contract with the Raptors.

With Leonard’s trade to Toronto finally completed last week, they didn’t waste any time to ensure his second stint with the team would be longer than the first. This will keep Kawhi with the Raptors for the next three seasons. They’ll be all in on trying to win another championship with Leonard leading the way for the next few seasons.

Raptors converted Jaden Bradley to a standard contract.

The 50th overall pick in June’s draft, Bradley was initially signed to a two-way contract. However, because the Raptors were limited in their ability to spend to fill out their available standard contracts, the former Arizona guard’s deal has been converted to a four-year deal worth just under $9.3 million. While Monday’s transaction gives Bradley a little more short-term security and frees up a two-way slot for the Raptors, it’s unlikely to significantly affect fantasy basketball.

NBA insider Jake Fischer reports that the Raptors and Kawhi Leonard are nearing an agreement on a contract extension.

Mere days after his return to Toronto became official, Leonard is reportedly closing in on a lucrative contract extension. According to Fischer, the talented forward is eligible for a deal worth up to $126 million over two years. Leonard is going into the final season of a contract that will pay him just over $50 million. So, while the collective bargaining agreement limits how many years he can sign for, Kawhi’s average annual salary would get a nice bump if the extension comes to fruition.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Raptors acquired Kawhi Leonard from the Clippers for Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick and future draft capital.

The trade the Raptors put on hold in early July while the league investigated Leonard’s contract with the Clippers is coming to fruition. Regarding the draft capital, the Clippers will still receive two future first-round picks, one first-round pick swap and two second-round picks. When healthy, Leonard is one of the most valuable players in fantasy basketball, especially in category leagues. He has appeared in 65 games or more in two of the last three seasons. While fantasy managers will have to consider the occasional injury-management night, Leonard’s availability may not be as much of a concern as it was in past seasons.

According to The Athletic, the trade that would send Kawhi Leonard to Toronto could be completed “in the coming days.”

The Clippers and Raptors agreed to a deal that would send Leonard to Toronto in exchange for Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick and future draft compensation in July. However, an investigation into Leonard’s contract with the Clippers put those plans on hold. The Justice Department has opened its own investigation into the deal, but the NBA concluded its probe and penalized the Clippers on September 2. With Clippers governor Steve Ballmer accepting the ruling after initially vowing to fight, the door may now open for the Leonard trade to be completed soon. Kawhi was with the Raptors players in Miami for their minicamp last week but worked out individually because the trade wasn’t official.

Raptors signed Andre Jackson Jr. to an Exhibit 10 contract.

The 36th overall pick in the 2023 draft, Jackson spent his first three NBA seasons in Milwaukee. While there were occasional moments when his athleticism was on display, the former UConn wing could not lock down consistent rotation minutes with the Bucks. In Toronto, he’ll compete for one of the team’s final roster spots when training camp opens in late September.

NBA insider Chris Haynes reports that the Raptors have signed Trey Jemison to a two-way contract.

Jemison has played for five different NBA teams in his three seasons, most recently spending the 2025-26 campaign with the Knicks on a two-way deal. The 6-foot-11 center appeared in 13 NBA games for the champs, averaging 6.3 minutes per game. While Toronto has experienced success in using its G League affiliate to develop players, Jemison is unlikely to be in a position to impact fantasy basketball next season.

Nate Bittle amassed 13 points (5-of-9 FGs), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, three blocks and three three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Heat.

While two of the Raptors’ three two-way contract slots have been filled by Chucky Hepburn and second-round pick Jaden Bradley, Bittle will be in training camp on an Exhibit 10 deal. Not selected in last month’s draft, the 7-footer out of Oregon has displayed range out beyond the three-point line as well as the ability to provide rim protection defensively. While Bittle may not be in a position where he can be relied on in most redraft leagues, he’s an intriguing player to watch in dynasty formats, especially when considering Jakob Poeltl’s struggles to stay healthy last season.

Allen Graves accounted for 23 points (8-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and four three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Heat.

The Raptors fell short of a spot in Saturday’s semifinals, but Graves came through with another solid performance for the winners. The rookie forward’s ability to fill a stat line is what pushed him into the first round despite not being a starter at Santa Clara. Graves contributed on both ends of the floor against the Heat, and he offers a similar fantasy profile to Collin Murray-Boyles, albeit at a smaller size. How valuable Graves can be as a rookie depends partially on Kawhi Leonard, whose acquisition is still on hold. Rotation minutes should not be an issue for Graves, given the many ways in which he can contribute.

As was the case in Friday’s loss to the Celtics, Graves provided value in multiple statistical categories on Monday. Versatility is one reason the first-round pick out of Santa Clara could be an immediate fantasy asset, even though Graves is likely to come off the bench. Graves offers value as a rebounder, facilitator and defender, with Monday’s stat line only lacking a blocked shot. While he may offer a limited ceiling as a rookie, Graves may be worth the risk in deeper leagues.
