Quickley is set to miss his seventh game in a row with a foot injury. Ja’Kobe Walter should continue to start in his place while Jamal Shead will also have a big role off the bench.

Scottie Barnes amassed 14 points (5-of-14 FGs, 4-of-8 FTs), five rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and one block in Wednesday’s loss to the Kings.

While Barnes’ percentages were poor on Wednesday, the rebounds, assists and defensive stats were good. Regarding the shooting, it’s fair to wonder if Barnes’ left shoulder may be causing him some trouble, even though he’s a right-handed player. He shot 2-of-8 from the field in Tuesday’s loss to the Pistons and was only slightly better against Sacramento. The Raptors play games on Friday and Sunday, so Barnes won’t have to deal with another back-to-back this week.
Jamal Shead

TOR Guard #23

Jamal Shead recorded 16 points (5-of-9 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), one rebound, seven assists, one steal, one block and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Kings.

With Wednesday’s game being the second in as many nights for the Raptors, Shead was inserted into the starting lineup with Brandon Ingram out. The second-year guard was solid, with the 16 points being the most he’s scored in a game since a January 11 game against the 76ers in which Shead put up 22. Add in the assists, defensive contributions and percentages, and Wednesday was a good night for the few streaming Shead. His fantasy value for the rest of Week 23 depends on the statuses of Ingram and Immanuel Quickley. And with the Raptors not having another back-to-back, there’s no need to add Shead.
Collin Murray-Boyles

Collin Murray-Boyles tallied 20 points (7-of-9 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), four rebounds and two assists in Wednesday’s loss to the Kings.

While his final stat line was limited, Murray-Boyles put up 20 points in 18 minutes on Wednesday. Also, the Raptors’ rookie started the third quarter in place of Jakob Poeltl, who suffered a cut over his right eye during the first half. Poeltl still played 28 minutes, finishing with 18 points, five rebounds, one assist and two steals. Murray-Boyles’ playing time is unlikely to change much this season, but he is certainly someone to watch in 2026-27.
RJ Barrett

TOR Forward-Guard #9

RJ Barrett finished Wednesday’s loss to the Kings with 20 points (8-of-19 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, six assists and one three-pointer.

Barrett extended his streak of games with at least 20 points to three on Wednesday, while also providing solid value in rebounds and assists. Unfortunately, he doesn’t bring much to the table defensively, and his percentages weren’t great on Wednesday. Those issues limit Barrett’s value in category leagues, with the wing being a better option in points leagues. The Raptors play two more games in Week 23, starting with the Grizzlies on Friday.
Jamal Shead

Jamal Shead, Ja’Kobe Walter, RJ Barrett, Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl will start Wednesday’s game against the Kings.

Already without Immanuel Quickley, the Raptors will also be without Brandon Ingram for Wednesday’s game. His absence opens up a spot in the lineup for Shead, who can be useful to deep-league managers needing assists and steals.

Temple is available, but he has not cracked double digits in minutes in a game this season. His availability does not affect fantasy basketball.
