Scottie Barnes had 20 points (7-of-14 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 14 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, one block and two three-pointers against the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Barnes became the first player in Raptors history to have a game with at least 20 points, at least 14 rebounds and at least 10 assists. It’s his second triple-double in his last three games. Over his last three games, he’s had 50 rebounds. While the 24-year-old small forward is still testing the limits of his game, he’s established himself as one of the best players in all of fantasy basketball this season. The Raptors finish up the week against the Hawks Saturday.

Brandon Ingram had 30 points (11-of-21 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), eight rebounds, one assist and five threes in the Raptors’ 106-103 loss to the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Trailing by three with 2.7 seconds left, the Raptors fouled Bruce Brown, who promptly missed both free throws. The second free throw was corralled by Scottie Barnes and quickly moved up the floor to Ingram, who appeared to tie the game with a last second three-pointer off the glass. Upon further review, the ball was clearly still in Ingram’s hand when time ran out. The call was overturned and the Raptors fell to 20-15 on the season, but Ingram was a split second away from sending this one to overtime.
RJ Barrett

TOR Forward-Guard #9

RJ Barrett, Brandon Ingram, Immanuel Quickley, Scottie Barnes and Ochai Agbaji will start on Wednesday against the Nuggets.

Barrett will return to the starting lineup after missing Monday’s game against the Magic. He returned from a 15-game absence the game prior to face the Warriors on the first leg of a back-to-back. In his return, he tallied 24 minutes and made contributions as a scorer, passer, and facilitator in the overtime victory. He’ll have a chance to make an impact again against a Nuggets team currently dealing with a long list of injuries.

RJ Barrett (knee) is not on the injury report for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.

Barrett sat out on Monday, which was the second night of a back-to-back after making his return from a 15-game absence the day before. Sandro Mamukelashvili came off the bench in his return but started with Barrett out. Either Mamu or Ochai Agbaji will come off the bench with Barrett back.

Brandon Ingram had 17 points (7-of-22 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), nine rebounds, four assists and one block against the Magic on Monday.

Ingram is struggling badly with his three-point shot lately. The 28-year-old small forward is 1-of-21 from behind the three-point line over his last three games. Perhaps he was due for this streak after a streak of six consecutive games with at least three made three-pointers earlier this month. Ingram will have two more chances to find his three-point shot this week, starting with the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Scottie Barnes had 13 points (5-of-12 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 11 rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and one three-pointer in the Raptors’ 107-106 win over the Magic on Monday.

Barnes’ biggest play of the night came on the defensive end rather than the offensive end. Clinging to a 107-106 lead in the final seconds, Barnes locked up Paolo Banchero, who missed a shot at the buzzer. The 24-year-old small forward’s scoring has been down recently with 14 or less points in four of his last six games. Barnes has still tallied 36 rebounds over his last two games as he’s taken over on the glass. The Raptors play again Wednesday against the Nuggets.
Sandro Mamukelashvili

TOR Forward-Center #54

Immanuel Quickley, Ochai Agbaji, Brandon Ingram, Scottie Barnes and Sandro Mamukelashvili will start Monday’s game against the Magic.

The lone change to the starting lineup is Mamukelashvili, who starts after coming off the bench in Sunday’s win over the Warriors. RJ Barrett, who returned from a knee injury the day prior, is not available for injury management reasons.

Collin Murray-Boyles (illness) is available for Monday’s game against the Magic.

Initially questionable for Monday’s game, Murray-Boyles is good to go. With Jakob Poeltl (back) out for at least one more week, the rookie will pick up a few more minutes in the frontcourt, along with Sandro Mamukelashvili.

Jakob Poeltl (back) will be sidelined for at least one more week.

Poeltl, whose lower back has been an issue since the preseason, has missed five of Toronto’s last six games and played seven minutes in his lone appearance during that stretch. According to the team, he’ll miss at least one more week before being re-evaluated. “Poeltl is currently completing a program of intensive rehabilitation and strengthening. Following that period, he will be re-evaluated for a return to play, and his status will be updated as appropriate,” the Raptors said via press release. Sandro Mamukelashvili has replaced Poeltl in the starting lineup, and he is worth streaming until the 7-footer is cleared to return.
Collin Murray-Boyles

Collin Murray-Boyles (illness) is questionable for Monday’s matchup with the Magic, and Mo Bamba is off the injury report.

Murray-Boyles sat out Sunday, and his potential absence on the second leg of Toronto’s back-to-back set could allow Sandro Mamukelashvili to slide into the starting five. Newly signed Mo Bamba could earn meaningful minutes off the bench in his Toronto debut if Murray-Boyles is forced to sit this one out.
