Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) is questionable for Monday’s Game 2 against the Cavaliers.
Quickley suffered a strained right hamstring during the Raptors’ regular-season finale and did not play in Saturday’s series-opening loss to the Cavaliers. If he’s able to return for Game 2, Jamal Shead would be bumped to the bench. Quickley’s return would also be good news for Brandon Ingram, who only attempted nine shots in Game 1.
Jamal Shead
TOR
Guard
#23
Jamal Shead had 17 points (6-of-11 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), one rebound, two assists and five three-pointers in Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Cavaliers.
Shead replaced Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) in the starting lineup for Game 1 against the Cavaliers on Saturday. The 23-year-old point guard gave the Raptors a spark with 17 points and five three-pointers. Quickley is said to be improving and could return later in the series, but Shead did about as well as the Raptors could’ve hoped in his Game 1 spot start.
Scottie Barnes
TOR
Forward-Guard
#4
Scottie Barnes had 21 points (6-of-14 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), one rebound, seven assists and three three-pointers in Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Cavaliers.
Barnes had 21 points on 14 attempts from the field and three three-pointers. The 24-year-old small forward also had seven assists, but he also had five turnovers. Barnes was a game-worst -22 in his 32 minutes on the floor. The Raptors will need Barnes to take better care of the ball if they’re going to make this a series.
Brandon Ingram
TOR
Forward
#3
Brandon Ingram had 17 points (5-of-9 FGs, 7-of-10 FTs), two rebounds, four assists and one block in Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Cavaliers.
Ingram didn’t make a great impression in his first playoff action with the Raptors. The 28-year-old small forward had just four points and was 0-of-1 from the field in the second half. With Ingram not scoring, the Cavaliers pulled away in the third quarter, winning it by 14 points. Ingram will need to bounce back in a big way if the Raptors are going to get back into the series.
Jamal Shead
TOR
Guard
#23
Raptors will start Jamal Shead, R.J. Barrett, Brandon Ingram, Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl on Saturday for Game 1 against the Cavaliers.
Immanuel Quickley is out with a right hamstring strain and was replaced in the starting lineup by Jamal Shead. It’s a significant loss for the Raptors, who won all three regular season meetings with the Cavaliers. There are no other lineup changes for Toronto.
Immanuel Quickley

Guard

Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) is out for Saturday’s Game 1 against the Cavaliers.
Quickley is set to miss Game 1 against the Cavaliers on Saturday with a right hamstring strain. The 26-year-old point guard suffered the injury in the Raptors’ last game of the regular season. Ja’Kobe Walter and Jamal Shead are the logical candidates to replace Quickley in Saturday’s starting lineup.
Immanuel Quickley

Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) is questionable for Saturday’s Game 1 against the Cavaliers.
Quickley had to exit Toronto’s regular-season finale due to tightness in his right hamstring, and the injury has been diagnosed as a strain. Ja’Kobe Walter was the replacement the last time that Quickley was the lone unavailable starter for the Raptors, and that may be the case for Game 1. Another candidate to fill the potential void is Jamal Shead.
Scottie Barnes
TOR
Forward-Guard
#4
Scottie Barnes recorded a triple-double on Sunday with 18 points (8-of-11 FGs), 12 rebounds, 12 assists, one steal and three blocks in a 136-101 win over the Nets.
In the regular season finale, Barnes put up his third triple-double of the season, which was his first since December. That was enough to get the win for the Raptors and push them up to the No. 5 seed in the East, which sets them up to take on the Cavaliers in round one. Barnes has been incredible this season and has been a big reason for Toronto’s success. They’ll need him at his best to have a chance to pull the upset against Cleveland.
RJ Barrett
TOR
Forward-Guard
#9
RJ Barrett led the Raptors with 26 points (9-of-15 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), three rebounds, two assists and two three-pointers against the Nets on Sunday.
Barrett was back for the season finale following a one-game absence with a knee injury. He was able to have a strong performance offensively, leading Toronto in scoring. Barrett has been solid to wrap up the regular season, and they’ll need him to be at his best against Cleveland in the first round. He’ll continue to be one of their top scoring options, and his production may end up being more vital than usual if Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) ends up missing time.
Brandon Ingram
TOR
Forward
#3
Brandon Ingram lit up the Nets with 25 points (7-of-10 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and three three-pointers on Sunday.
Ingram’s first regular season with the Raptors ended on a high note. Over the final four games, he averaged 25.5 points while shooting 57.8 percent from the floor. That was enough to lead Toronto to the fifth seed in the East, which sets them with a first-round matchup against the Cavaliers. Ingram played in 77 games this season, which was the most he played in since his rookie year. They’ll need him at his best to defeat Cleveland.
