Fox was one of several Spurs players who found production in limited minutes on Thursday. The veteran guard logged just 23 minutes of action, thanks to a comfortable Spurs lead, but still nearly finished with 20 points. Fox’s trio of three-pointers was important as far as fantasy basketball is concerned, though he didn’t have much of an impact elsewhere. Regardless, he performed well in his minutes and should be a bit more rested for Saturday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Stephon Castle

Stephon Castle added 19 points (6-of-9 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), one rebound, 10 assists, and one three-pointer in the win over the Bucks on Thursday.

Castle needed just 26 minutes of game action on Thursday to secure his first double-double in nearly one month. The second-year guard scored efficiently from the floor, and while he reached double figures in assists, the zero turnovers he committed were perhaps even more impressive. The balanced performance was the second consecutive for Castle, who had struggled to produce previously for a short period. Now that he appears to be out of a slump, fantasy managers should expect him to remain productive against the Timberwolves on Saturday.
Victor Wembanyama

Victor Wembanyama finished with 22 points (7-of-12 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), 10 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and five three-pointers in the win over the Bucks on Thursday.

The Spurs dominated the Bucks on the scoreboard on Thursday, limiting Wembanyama to just 22 minutes of game action. Yet, the versatile third-year center didn’t need much time to log a nice stat line. The former first-overall pick had a big night from beyond the arc, making all but one of his six attempts en route to concluding as the only Spurs player with 20 or more points. He also pulled down double-digit rebounds to secure yet another double-double on the season. Wembanyama continues to put up great numbers and remains one of the most productive fantasy basketball options.
Devin Vassell

Devin Vassell (adductor) is out for Thursday’s game against the Bucks.

Vassell will miss a ninth consecutive game due to a strained left adductor. Julian Champagnie will remain in the starting lineup until Vassell is healthy enough to return.

Stephon Castle had 20 points (6-of-13 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), seven rebounds, eight assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Tuesday’s loss to the Thunder.

Castle had just 11 points and shot 2-of-11 from the field in Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves. He also wasn’t that great the game before with nine points on 3-of-16 shooting against the Celtics. Castle bounced back with as many points as he had had in the previous two games (20) against the Thunder on Tuesday. He was also just three rebounds and two assists shy of a triple-double. Castle will look to build on this performance Thursday against the Bucks.
Devin Vassell

Devin Vassell (adductor) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Thunder.

Tuesday’s showdown will be the eighth consecutive game Vassell has missed with a strained left adductor. Julian Champagnie has been the replacement in the starting lineup, and he’s worth streaming in deep leagues until Vassell returns.

Stephon Castle amassed 11 points (2-of-11 FGs, 7-of-10 FTs), six rebounds and five assists in Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves.

Castle had a rough night in Minneapolis. Not only could he not get shots to fall, but the second-year guard was also responsible for seven turnovers. While the rebound and assist numbers were solid, Castle’s inefficiency essentially nullified them. He’ll look to bounce back on Tuesday when the Spurs open a three-game week in Oklahoma City.
Julian Champagnie

Julian Champagnie tallied 14 points (4-of-9 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), 10 rebounds, one assist and three three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves.

Due to injuries, Champagnie has started seven straight and eight of San Antonio’s last nine games. That stretch includes three double-doubles, with the Spurs’ forward offering top-100 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Rostered in 24 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Champagnie is worth a look in deep leagues as long as Devin Vassell remains out.
Victor Wembanyama

Victor Wembanyama (ankle) finished Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves with 29 points (8-of-18 FGs, 10-of-10 FTs), seven rebounds, one assist, three steals and three three-pointers.

Wembanyama was back in the starting lineup on Sunday, but the minutes (27) were still somewhat limited. Wembanyama landed on Rudy Gobert’s foot after attempting a three-pointer during the third quarter, tweaking his left ankle. That didn’t affect his availability for the rest of the game as he remained on the floor, but it could land Wemby on the injury report ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Thunder. Luke Kornet (six points, 12 rebounds, one steal and one block) played 23 minutes off the bench.

Having come off the bench in his first few games back from a knee injury, Wembanyama is in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game. Luke Kornet heads to the bench, which lowers his fantasy ceiling. That’s the lone change to the lineup that began Saturday’s win over the Celtics.
