Damian Lillard

POR Guard #0

Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players

Damian Lillard amassed 22 points (6-of-17 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), five rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and three three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Jazz.

The 22 points are the most Lillard has scored in a game since Portland’s opener against the Suns, when he tallied 25. He didn’t shoot particularly well, but Dame led the Trail Blazers in assists and recorded a complete stat line. With Portland winning comfortably, Lillard played only 27 minutes on Saturday.
Scoot Henderson

POR Guard #00

Scoot Henderson tallied 14 points (4-of-11 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, three steals and one three-pointer in Saturday’s win over the Jazz.

As expected, Henderson replaced Ja Morant (hamstring) in the starting lineup on Saturday. Unfortunately, he produced one assist and four turnovers in 31 minutes, but his steals tally was solid. Jrue Holiday (14/4/3/1 with two three-pointers) played nine fewer minutes than Henderson and was the more efficient of the two. Henderson is worth rostering while Morant sits, but those who add him will likely have to accept the efficiency issues.
Deni Avdija

POR Forward #8

Deni Avdija finished Saturday’s win over the Jazz with 24 points (6-of-12 FGs, 10-of-13 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal and two three-pointers.

Portland’s first game since losing Ja Morant to a hamstring strain went smoothly, as they beat the Jazz by 22. Avdija led the way offensively, shooting a solid percentage from the field. He was one of three Trail Blazers to record multiple assists, along with Damian Lillard and Jrue Holiday. Compared to Thursday’s loss to the Grizzlies, Avdija’s usage increased slightly, and it should remain that way until Morant returns. Portland plays four games next week, starting with Denver on Monday.
Robert Williams

POR Center-Forward #35

Robert Williams (knee) is available for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.

Williams is available after missing Thursday’s loss to the Grizzlies. He doesn’t have much fantasy value at this point in his career on a crowded Trail Blazers bench.
Chris Youngblood

POR Guard #3

Chris Youngblood (ankle) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.

Youngblood hasn’t appeared in a game this season. With Ja Morant (hamstring) out, there could be a few minutes available on the back end of Portland’s rotation, but Youngblood would not be worth the risk in fantasy leagues if available.
Robert Williams

POR Center-Forward #35

Robert Williams (knee) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.

Williams did not play in Thursday’s loss to the Grizzlies, so Branden Carlson played rotation minutes in the first half and Micah Potter in the third quarter. Neither is in a position to affect fantasy basketball if Williams remains out.
Ja Morant

POR Guard #1

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Ja Morant has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain and will miss at least four weeks.

Morant sustained the injury on Thursday against his former team, and it will cost him the next month, at minimum. Scoot Henderson and Jrue Holiday should see the most run in Morant’s absence, but it’s not yet known which of the pair will start alongside Damian Lillard.
Donovan Clingan

POR Center #23

Donovan Clingan finished with 11 points (5-of-9 FGs), eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, five blocks and one three-pointer against the Grizzlies on Thursday.

Portland was without Robert Williams (knee) for this game, which allowed Clingan to set a new season high for minutes. He set a new season high for blocks, but ultimately, his production didn’t change much. Clingan’s lack of minutes has been disappointing, but if he can continue to have between 26-30 minutes per game, he should be able to play to his fourth-round ADP, especially if he is blocking shots at this rate.
Deni Avdija

POR Forward #8

Deni Avdija led the Trail Blazers with 24 points (8-of-16 FGs, 8-of-12 FTs), nine rebounds, seven assists and one block in a 124-103 loss to the Grizzlies on Thursday.

Avdija’s production is slightly down from last season, but he continues to be the primary scoring option for Portland. He only scored 18 points in the season opener, though he only played 24 minutes because of the lopsided score. Since then, he has averaged 24.3 points and 7.3 assists per game while shooting 51.1 percent from the floor. If Avdija can continue to shoot this efficiently, he’ll be even better than he was last season.
Damian Lillard

POR Guard #0

Damian Lillard struggled on Thursday and finished with just nine points (3-of-13 FGs), two rebounds, two assists and one three-pointer against the Grizzlies.

Lillard has been excellent for a 36-year-old coming off a torn Achilles, but he struggled in this one. This was just Portland’s first loss of the season, and Lillard should get back to producing how he was previously. He isn’t the player he once was, but Lillard will continue to be a productive player, mostly as a reliable source of three-pointers and assists.
