While there is still a chance Murphy plays, trending down is never a good sign. If he doesn’t suit up, there is a decent chance Herb Jones remains a starter, even with Dejounte Murray returning. Saddiq Bey would also be in line for extra minutes.

Murray has missed the Pelicans’ last three games for personal reasons, and Herb Jones has replaced him in the starting lineup. Jeremiah Fears has played well as the sole point guard in Murray’s absence, which could force Pelicans head coach Jamahl Mosley to make a tough decision on Wednesday.

Williamson only scored 15 points against the Hawks on Saturday, which was a season low. However, that came with a season low for shot attempts as well, which can be attributed to the lopsided score. Williamson bounced back in this game with his first double-double of the season, and the Pelicans have now won three games in a row. Williamson has been an incredible source of steals this season, with this game being the first that he didn’t record at least two swipes. He’ll look to keep it going against the Jazz on Wednesday.
Derik Queen

Derik Queen provided a boost off the bench with 20 points (7-of-13 FGs), seven rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and one three-pointer against the Grizzlies on Monday.

Queen was fantastic off the bench in this game, especially early on. He scored 18 points in 15 minutes in the first half alone, and while he cooled off after that, it still ended up being a productive outing for him. Queen has been productive this season despite a disappointing lack of minutes, and he made the most of his time on the floor in this one. However, his ceiling will continue to be capped as a reserve despite his fantasy-friendly game.
Karlo Matković

NOP Forward-Center #17

Karlo Matković lit up the Grizzlies with 25 points (9-of-13 FGs), six rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block and five three-pointers on Monday.

Matković has started the last three games for New Orleans, and while he has been productive, this was by far his best performance. He set career highs for both points and three-pointers, and New Orleans needed every single one of them to get the win. Matković has averaged 15.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.0 block and 2.7 triples as a starter and is still available in 94 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Dejounte Murray (personal) is out for Monday’s game against the Grizzlies.

Murray, who has missed the last two games for personal reasons, was added to the Pelicans’ injury report on Monday afternoon. He’s now out, which should mean the Pelicans stick with Jeremiah Fears as their lead playmaker. Also, Herb Jones should remain in the starting lineup.
