Bey continues to score in double figures, with Thursday’s performance extending his current streak to nine consecutive games. He didn’t offer much beyond the points, rebounds and three-pointers, but fantasy managers should not be too concerned. Plus, the Week 23 schedule works in the Pelicans’ favor, as they still have games on Friday and Sunday.

Interestingly, Murphy was not under a minutes restriction on Thursday after missing three games with a sprained ankle. He played 36 minutes in Portland, which may be a clear sign that he won’t play in Friday’s game against the Kings. If Murphy sits, Yves Missi (six points, seven rebounds and one blocked shot) is likely to return to the starting five.

Jeremiah Fears tallied 21 points (7-of-10 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), two rebounds, one assist, two steals, two blocks and three three-pointers in Thursday’s loss to the Trail Blazers.

The Pelicans aren’t playing for a postseason spot, but these late-season games are highly valuable to young players like Fears. The rookie guard had an excellent night in Portland, recording a complete stat line in 26 minutes on the court. Fears still has work to do, especially defensively, but there’s a clear willingness to compete on that end of the floor. On Thursday, his efforts were rewarded with two steals and two blocks. New Orleans still has two more games in Week 23, starting with the Kings on Friday.

Trey Murphy (ankle) is available for Thursday’s game against the Trail Blazers.

Murphy is available after a three-game absence. His return will push Yves Missi to the bench, but the second-year center should play plenty due to the need to account for Portland’s Donovan Clingan and Robert Williams III.

Over the past two weeks, the veteran point guard has provided sixth-round value in eight-cat formats. Unfortunately, the Week 23 schedule works against Murray and those rostering him. Not only are the Pelicans off until Thursday, but their three-game week includes a back-to-back. As a result, Murray could be limited to two appearances.
Zion Williamson

Zion Williamson tallied 18 points (6-of-8 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs)< four rebounds and three assists in Sunday’s loss to the Rockets.

Williamson put up solid percentages in Sunday’s defeat, but the overall stat line was limited. However, that has not been an issue for him on most nights since the All-Star break. Providing eighth-round value since the break, Williamson has shot 65.2 percent from the field and 71.3 percent from the foul line during this stretch. The Pelicans play three games in Week 23, but they’re off until Thursday.
Saddiq Bey

Saddiq Bey notched 18 points (7-of-13 FGs), seven rebounds, one assist, one block and four three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Rockets.

Bey has scored at least 17 points in each of his last eight games, continuing to provide consistent offensive value. Rostered in 44 percent of Yahoo! leagues, the Pelicans forward has provided sixth-round value in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. With the Pelicans off until Thursday, he won’t be useful to fantasy managers at the start of Week 23. However, managers should check their waiver wires on Wednesday for Bey, as the Pelicans play three games in the final four days of the week.
