Bey will be out for a third straight game, which means Bryce McGowens could see additional minutes off the bench behind Trey Murphy. Even with Herb Jones (ankle) also sidelined, McGowens isn’t worth an add in most fantasy leagues.

Trey Murphy finished with a team-high 27 points (10-of-19 FGs), eight rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block over 38 minutes in Sunday’s blowout loss to the Heat.

Murphy showed zero signs of rust in his return to the lineup following a brief one-game absence due to a back issue. The 25-year-old forward drained 8-of-12 shots in the opening half, including 5-of-8 from three-point range, to rack up a game-high 21 points and keep New Orleans within striking distance. He went ice-cold down the home stretch, which enabled Miami to pull away for a relatively easy win. The Pelicans will attempt to snap a prolonged seven-game losing streak next week when they return to action with a four-game slate that features showdowns against the Lakers, Hawks, Wizards and Magic.

Jeremiah Fears posted 21 points (8-of-13 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block over 26 minutes in Sunday’s one-sided defeat at the hands of the Heat.

Fears did most of his damage during garbage time, but it counts the same for fantasy purposes. The 19-year-old lottery pick accumulated 13 second-half points on 5-of-9 shooting with three of those makes coming from downtown. He’s been a non-factor for fantasy purposes during his rookie campaign but should see an increase in offensive opportunities as the year progresses, especially if New Orleans falls out of playoff contention.

Jeremiah Fears, Trey Murphy, Zion Williamson, Derik Queen and Karlo Matković will start Sunday’s game against the Heat.

Murphy and Queen are back after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Trail Blazers. Their returns bump Jordan Poole and Bryce McGowens to the bench. While Poole is worth holding onto in standard fantasy leagues, McGowens is not. The other change is Matković, who replaces Yves Missi at the center position. While he is worth watching to see how he fits next to Williamson and Queen, Matković is not a must-stream player.

Queen did not play in Friday’s loss to the Trail Blazers, resulting in Yves Missi moving into the starting lineup. Also, Kevon Looney and Karlo Matković each surpassed 20 minutes off the bench. All three will see their minutes decrease with Queen in the fold, and there’s no need to stream any of them in most leagues.

After sitting out Friday’s loss to the Trail Blazers, Murphy is back for Sunday’s matchup with the Heat. His return means that Jordan Poole will head to the bench, where his fantasy value takes a hit.
