Mashack is in the league’s concussion protocol and will miss at least one game. He logged 14 minutes off the bench in Friday’s loss to the Raptors. Dariq Whitehead, Lucas Williamson and Adama Bal should play plenty due to the Grizzlies’ many injuries.

Small joins the long list of Grizzlies guards who will not be available for Sunday’s game. If Walter Clayton Jr. (hip) can play after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Raptors, he’s likely to be the starting point guard. If not, Dariq Whitehead and Lucas Williamson may have to fill the void. There’s no need to stream either of them in that scenario.

Jerome will remain out for a seventh straight game, while Spencer will miss a second due to his back injury. With Javon Small also out, the Grizzlies will rely heavily on Walter Clayton Jr. if he’s able to return from a hip injury that kept him out of Friday’s loss to the Raptors.

Coward and Jackson, with the latter having scored 30 points in Friday’s loss to the Raptors, are on track to sit out Sunday’s game due to injury. Memphis has been extremely shorthanded for most of this season. The good news is that Olivier-Maxence Prosper and Taylor Hendricks are available, and both will be key options on Sunday.

Walter Clayton Jr. (hip) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Bucks.

The Grizzlies have been decimated by injuries, especially on the perimeter. Clayton did not play in Friday’s loss to the Raptors, and the many absences led to recent additions Adama Bal and Dariq Whitehead playing rotation minutes. That may be the case regardless of Clayton’s availability for Sunday’s game.

Javon Small added 14 points (5-of-11 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), six rebounds, four assists and two three-pointers in the loss to the Raptors on Friday.

Small struggled from beyond the arc on Friday but used strong two-point scoring to work his way into double figures as a scorer. The rookie guard also made an impact on the glass in his 27 minutes during the blowout loss. Small has proven himself to be a quality lead guard following the All-Star Break. He’ll have a chance to put up another solid line against the Bucks on Sunday.

Cedric Coward logged 15 points (5-of-11 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and two three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Raptors.

Coward’s final line didn’t pop, but he was still one of the Grizzlies’ top performers on the evening. He finished as the team’s second-leading scorer, collected a few stocks, and made a pair of three-pointers, albeit on inefficient shooting. The rookie forward hasn’t had many big performances lately; he’s mostly just provided value as a scorer down the stretch of the season.
GG Jackson

MEM Forward #45

GG Jackson totaled 30 points (10-of-16 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), five rebounds, one assist, one block and three three-pointers in the loss to the Raptos on Friday.

Murray followed his 20-point outing against the Knicks with an even higher-scoring performance on Friday, setting a new season-high against the Raptors. Eighteen of Jackson’s points and three of his three-pointers came after halftime. The third-year forward’s strong second half of the season has been encouraging after a slower start to the year. Given the Grizzlies’ injuries and roster construction throughout the year, he will be an interesting player to project next fantasy season.
