Coward, who has been battling a lingering ankle issue recently, took on an expanded role from a scoring standpoint in this one with Memphis still playing without mercurial guard Ja Morant due to an ongoing calf injury. The 22-year-old hoisted a team-leading 15 shots and knocked down 5-of-10 from three-point range to fuel his fifth 20-point effort on the season. He drained a pair of clutch treys in the final two minutes of regulation to put the Grizzlies ahead for good. He’ll continue to see an uptick in minutes and scoring opportunities while Morant and other key contributors for the Grizzlies remain sidelined. The Grizzlies are off until Thursday when they face the Magic before closing out the week with a rematch against Orlando on Sunday afternoon.

Landale has made the most of his recent opportunity, starting five consecutive games for the Grizzlies in place of injured center Zach Edey, who remains sidelined with a stress reaction in his left ankle. The 30-year-old big man has reached double-digit points in five of his last six games, while playing nearly 25 minutes during that span. He offers enough scoring and rebounding production to be worthy of consideration as a short-term stopgap in deeper fantasy leagues.

Spencer drew the start at point guard in place of an injured Ja Morant (calf) and reached double-digit points for the third time in his last four games, while posting at least 11 helpers for the second straight contest. The unheralded 25-year-old guard has proven to be a capable scorer and facilitator for the injury-plagued Grizzlies but his fantasy appeal is limited to deeper leagues right now. He has been providing a ton of value in assists and free throw percentage so far.

Konchar is available for the first time since December 7. He’s not worth rostering in most fantasy leagues, but he’ll give the Grizzlies additional depth off the bench.

Morant will remain out for another game, with Sunday’s being the fifth that he’s missed since suffering a right calf contusion. The Grizzlies will continue to rely on Cam Spencer and Vince Williams Jr. to handle the point guard responsibilities.

Caldwell-Pope exited Friday’s loss to the Thunder with a jaw injury suffered during the second quarter and did not return. His absence from the injury report means that he’ll play rotation minutes off the bench, but this will not affect fantasy basketball.

While he struggled shooting the basketball, Spencer hit double digits in assists for the third time this season. The 11 helpers were two shy of his career-high, as he continues to offer solid fantasy value as Ja Morant’s replacement in the starting lineup. Vince Williams Jr. had a good night off the bench, tallying 13 points, three rebounds, five assists, one block and three three-pointers in 23 minutes. Until Morant is healthy enough to play, Spencer and Williams will handle the point guard duties.

Back in the starting lineup after missing two games with a sprained ankle, Coward’s playing time was restricted on Friday. While the field-goal percentage wasn’t great, fantasy managers can make use of the rebounds and assists. GG Jackson, who started while Coward was out, had one of his best games of the season, tallying 18 points, two rebounds, one steal and three three-pointers in 21 minutes. Coward’s minutes will increase in the coming games, likely reducing Jackson’s opportunities.

Playing against a severely depleted Thunder roster, Jackson and the Grizzlies controlled Friday’s game for most of the first three quarters. After making all three of his shot attempts in the third quarter, JJJ was 0-of-3 in the fourth as Memphis lost a game that it led by as much as 21. The final stat line was solid, but fantasy managers may have hoped for more from Jackson on a night when the Grizzlies were once again without Ja Morant.
