Vince Williams Jr. provided a boost off the bench with 16 points (4-of-7 FGs), one rebound, five assists, two steals and four three-pointers on Monday against the Timberwolves.

Williams was pushed back to the bench after starting the Grizzlies’ last game, but that didn’t stop him from having a productive night. He was one of seven players to score in double figures for Memphis, including three from off the bench. Williams matched his season high for scoring, and he was still able to contribute value in other categories. Williams hasn’t been productive like this in a while, so this doesn’t make him worth rostering in standard leagues.

Jerome remained on a minutes restriction, but that hasn’t stopped him from producing incredible value. Through two games, he is averaging 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 2.0 triples in just 20 minutes per game while shooting 54.5 percent from the floor. The absence of Ja Morant has allowed Jerome to immediately start after missing the first three months of the season, and he should be considered a must-roster player now. He’ll look to stay hot in Sacramento on Wednesday.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 30 points (8-of-17 FGs, 11-of-11 FTs), six rebounds, one assist, one block and three three-pointers in a 137-128 win over the Timberwolves on Monday.

Following a one-game absence with a quad injury, Jackson returned to the lineup against Minnesota. That was enough to help snap a six-game losing streak. This was Jackson’s fourth 30-point game of the season, and this was a new career high for free throws made in a game without a miss. He wasn’t able to supply as many defensive stats as he typically does, but the added impact on offense helped make up for that. It was a slow start to the year, but Jackson has been a fantasy star in recent weeks.

Jackson sat out Saturday’s loss to the Timberwolves with a left quad contusion. The 26-year-old power forward is still questionable with the same injury Monday. GG Jackson, who had a 19/4/5 line Saturday, should be worth streaming again in deeper leagues if Jackson is ruled out.

Rust? What rust? Saturday’s game was Jerome’s first after suffering a calf strain during the preseason. And the minutes limit didn’t matter, as the Grizzlies guard was highly productive in his 20 minutes on the floor. Cam Spencer (5/3/5/2 with one three-pointer) played 25 minutes off the bench, but Jerome’s immediate insertion into the starting lineup is a concern for those who held onto the second-year guard. Memphis’s four-game Week 16 includes a back-to-back, so Jerome may be limited to three games. That said, fantasy managers should add him immediately.

Jaylen Wells accounted for 15 points (5-of-13 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), six rebounds, one assist and two three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Timberwolves.

Wells has hit double figures in six of his last seven games, a solid way for the second-year wing to finish January after starting the month slowly. For fantasy managers, the hope is that Wells can get back to the level he reached in December, when he averaged 14.3 points on 45 percent shooting and hit double figures in 11 of 12 games. Given the way in which the Grizzlies are trending, seeing what Wells can offer offensively when given more freedom may become a priority after the All-Star break.
