Tari Eason, Kevin Durant, Alperen Sengun, Jabari Smith Jr., and Amen Thompson will start against the Grizzlies on Monday.

Eason is off the injury report and back in the starting lineup for the Rockets, sending Josh Okogie back to the bench. Houston has had an up-and-down season but has won four out of its last five games. With their starting unit back intact, the Rockets will have a stronger chance of collecting another win against a banged-up Gizzlies team.

Finney-Smith is available after sitting out Friday’s win over the Pistons for injury maintenance. While the veteran forward’s availability allows Houston to expand its rotation, Finney-Smith won’t affect fantasy basketball.

Eason did not play in Friday’s win over the Pistons, allowing Josh Okogie to start and play 35 minutes. Eason’s return will likely push Okogie to the bench, and there isn’t much to gain from streaming him in that role.

Clint Capela provided a boost off the bench with five points (2-of-5 FGs), nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and three blocks on Friday against the Pistons.

Capela hasn’t been more than a depth piece down low for the Rockets this season, which hasn’t resulted in much production in the box score. However, with Steven Adams (ankle) out indefinitely, Capela has taken on more minutes and was able to contribute some boards and blocks in this game. He’ll be a solid reserve moving forward, but as long as Alperen Şengün is healthy, Capela won’t play enough to be worth rostering.
Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant led the Rockets with 32 points (11-of-19 FGs), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and five three-pointers in a 111-104 win over the Pistons on Friday.

Durant got off to a hot start in this game and entered halftime with 18 points. He remained hot after the break and ended up scoring at least 30 points for the second time in 24 hours. Durant has now shot at least 55 percent from the floor in four of his last five games. He has been hot recently and continues to play big minutes; he’s averaging 39.3 minutes per game over the past two weeks. As long as he’s on the floor, KD will continue to shine.
Jabari Smith

Jabari Smith Jr. stuffed the stat sheet on Friday with 11 points (5-of-9 FGs), 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and one three-pointer against the Pistons.

Smith has had some subpar performances recently, but he was able to turn in a strong line on Friday. This was only his second double-double of the month, and despite being a high-level defender, Smith hasn’t been able to consistently contribute defensive stats. That wasn’t the case in this game. He didn’t do much scoring, but he was efficient. He’ll look to keep it going against the Grizzlies on Monday.

Aaron Holiday (back) will miss Friday’s game against the Pistons.

Holiday is set to miss his fifth consecutive game when the Rockets take on the Pistons in Detroit. The veteran guard has spent the majority of his three seasons in Houston as a depth piece, and his absence on Friday will leave an opportunity for Reed Sheppard to continue to soak up the majority of the backup point guard minutes.

Both players will get the night off for injury maintenance, which means Josh Okogie and Reed Sheppard should see additional minutes against Detroit.
