Ball had a good game with 26 points, seven assists and six three-points, but also had six turnovers. It’s his second game in a row with six turnovers and third time he’s had six turnovers in a game this month. Ball is averaging 3.8 turnovers per game in December. It’s been a drag on his value in nine-category leagues.

Brandon Miller had 31 points (9-of-22 FGs, 10-of-12 FTs), eight rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and three three-pointers against the Bucks on Monday.

Miller had his first game with at least 30 points this year. He had a dunk on Kyle Kuzma in transition with seven minutes left in the fourth quarter, complete with trash talk. The 23-year-old small forward had 31 points on the night, but Miller wasn’t particularly efficient going 9-of-22 from the field. He got it done at the foul line by sinking 10-of-12 free throws. Miller is averaging 18.2 points per game in December. He’ll have to improve his field goal percentage to become a more consistent scorer.

Bridges suffered a right ankle injury during the first half of Monday’s game, playing seven minutes before having to exit. Tidjane Salaün should play more minutes off the bench, while fellow reserve Collin Sexton may see his usage increase due to Charlotte’s need for offensive production.

If Sion James (illness) is upgraded from questionable to available, he would be the most likely replacement in the starting lineup. If he can’t play, Collin Sexton would likely be next in line.

Monday’s game will be the fourth that Kalkbrenner has missed since suffering a sprained left elbow. With Mason Plumlee also out, Moussa Diabaté will shoulder a heavy workload as the starting center. And he would be worth streaming in some standard leagues.

When the Hornets’ rotation is at full strength, James’ potential absence would not significantly affect fantasy basketball. However, with Kon Knueppel (ankle) out, there’s a chance that James will start if he can play. If not, Collin Sexton may be the next man up, raising his fantasy ceiling.

The injury report ahead of Monday’s game against the Bucks will be a better indicator of Knueppel’s status, and if he ends up missing the game, Sion James will likely start in his place.
