Dëmin has turned things around after a slow start in December. In the first five games of the month, he averaged 6.6 points while shooting 33.3 percent from the field. Since then, Dëmin has hit double figures in four straight, recording his second 20-point game on Tuesday. While there are going to be moments when the Nets look to evaluate Nolan Traoré (five points, one rebound and two assists in 14 minutes) and Ben Saraf (DNP-CD) at the point, Dëmin has seemingly separated himself from his fellow rookies.

Nic Claxton tallied 16 points (6-of-7 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal in Tuesday’s win over the 76ers.

Claxton finished Tuesday’s game with his ninth double-double of the season and third in his last five games. Over the last two weeks, the Nets center has been a top-75 player in eight-cat formats. While fantasy managers usually have to punt free-throw percentage when rostering Claxton, he hasn’t been as much of a liability in that category this season, making a career-high 69.3 percent of his attempts.
Michael Porter

Michael Porter Jr. finished Tuesday’s win over the 76ers with 28 points (9-of-20 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), five rebounds, one assist, two steals and five three-pointers.

Porter started red-hot on Tuesday, scoring 25 points in the first half. That’s the most he’s scored in a half in his NBA career. Unfortunately, the Nets forward could not keep it going after halftime, scoring just three points on 1-of-6 shooting from the field. Porter has been consistently productive as a scorer, approaching top-25 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats.

Saraf’s availability isn’t surprising after his initial probable tag. However, he hasn’t been part of the rotation over the last few weeks, and that is unlikely to change in this game.

Saraf has not appeared in an NBA game since December 6, but that could change on Tuesday. However, there’s no need to consider adding him in redraft leagues. There may come a point during the “silly season” when he’s worth the risk, but not right now.

Cam Thomas (hamstring) has been cleared to resume 5-on-5 activities.

Thomas, who last appeared in a game on November 5, has been recovering from a strained left hamstring. However, while he still does not have a concrete return timeline, the guard was recently cleared to resume 5-on-5 activities. And Thomas got through Saturday’s session without any issues. Depending on how much he plays once cleared to return, Thomas may push Terance Mann to the bench. Mann has not been consistent enough to merit being rostered in most leagues.
Michael Porter

Michael Porter Jr. recorded 24 points (9-of-18 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 11 rebounds, five assists and one steal over 36 minutes on Sunday, powering the Nets to a 96-81 win over the Raptors.

Porter notched his fifth double-double of the season as he pulled down 11 boards and knocked down four shots from beyond the arc in a low-scoring tractor pull against the sluggish Raptors. The 27-year-old scoring machine is averaging a robust 25.7 points through 23 games this season, delivering third-round value for fantasy purposes. The Nets will face the 76ers on Tuesday in a road tilt before closing out a quick two-game week on Saturday against the Timberwolves.
Noah Clowney

Noah Clowney finished with 19 points (5-of-12 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks over 32 minutes during Sunday’s win over the Raptors.

Clowney helped Brooklyn ice the contest with a strong second half performance, scoring a team-high 16 points over the final two quarters, knocking down 4-of-6 shots from the floor, including 3-of-5 from three-point range. The 21-year-old has shown some flashes of scoring upside and is also capable of chipping in a handful of blocks as well, averaging 13.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.9 blocks through 27 games this season.

Powell injured his right ankle during Thursday’s loss to the Heat and did not return. His absence led to more minutes for Jalen Wilson, who is not worth the streaming risk in redraft leagues.
