Dyson Daniels tallied 15 points (6-of-9 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), 12 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one blocked shot in Monday’s win over the Magic.

Daniels’ second double-double in three games included a season-high 12 rebounds for the Hawks’ guard. While his upside as a scorer is a bit limited, the fourth-year guard remains a valuable option in category leagues because of everything else that he brings to the table. After a slow start to the season, Daniels has been a fourth-round player in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break.

On a night when Nickeil Alexander-Walker dropped a career-high 41 points, Johnson recorded his second triple-double in as many games and 13th of the season. The Hawks’ star continues to provide elite fantasy value, and he has been a second-round player in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. The Hawks play three more games in Week 21, starting with the Mavericks on Wednesday.

In a matchup of the two hottest teams in the NBA, Alexander-Walker and the Hawks extended their win streak to 10 games. One of the NBA’s most-improved players, he recorded his first 40-point game and did so while shooting excellent percentages. Alexander-Walker was 9-of-15 from beyond the arc, and the 24 points he scored before halftime were a career-high for a half. While some cited Jalen Johnson’s exponential growth as the biggest reason why the Hawks were willing to trade Trae Young, Alexander-Walker’s exceeding expectations was also a factor.

Johnson recorded his 12th triple-double of the season on Saturday, as he and the Hawks took advantage of a Bucks team that did not have Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Hawks’ star forward has provided first-round fantasy value throughout the season, and he’s shown no signs of slippage heading into the fantasy playoff weeks. The Hawks play four games in Week 21, starting with the Magic on Monday.

The Hawks have won nine straight games, and Alexander-Walker’s production is one of the reasons why. He’s scored 20 points or more in four of his last five appearances, and NAW has been a third-round player in nine-cat formats since the All-Star break. Thus far, Alexander-Walker has been one of the unsung heroes of fantasy basketball, based on his ADP and his production.
CJ McCollum

CJ McCollum produced 30 points (10-of-18 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, one steal and seven three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Bucks.

McCollum caught fire from deep in Saturday’s 122-99 victory, shooting 7-of-10 from beyond the arc. This was his second 30-point effort since joining the Hawks, the first being a 38-point showing in a February 9 loss to the Timberwolves. Since moving into the starting lineup in the Hawks’ third game out of the All-Star break, McCollum has averaged 17.8 points and 2.1 three-pointers per game. His field-goal percentage hasn’t been the best, but managers needing points and three-pointers can benefit from rostering the veteran guard.

Dyson Daniels (toe) is off the injury report for Saturday’s game against the Bucks.

Daniels is back after sitting out Thursday’s win over the Nets. Interestingly, the Hawks started Corey Kispert in Daniels’ place, with the veteran forward playing 20 minutes. Daniels’ return bumps Kispert to the bench.
Jonathan Kuminga

Jonathan Kuminga (knee) is out for Saturday’s game against the Bucks.

Kuminga, who returned to action on Thursday after a three-game absence, will not play on Saturday for injury management reasons. Mouhamed Gueye should pick up rotation minutes off the bench, but there’s no need to add him in redraft leagues.

Jalen Johnson led the Hawks with 21 points (7-of-15 FGs), nine rebounds, nine assists, two steals and four three-pointers in a 108-97 win over the Nets on Thursday.

Triple-doubles have eluded Johnson this month, but this was another near miss for him. Still, he was able to stuff the stat sheet once again in another win for Atlanta. They currently own the longest winning streak in the NBA at eight games, though it’s worth noting they’ve only played on away game during this streak. Still, Johnson has been fantastic, and he’ll look to stay hot against the Bucks on Saturday to wrap up the week.
