Alexander-Walker has scored 20 points or more in each of his last four appearances, as he continues to provide reliable fantasy value. Since the All-Star break, the Hawks’ guard has provided second-round value in eight-cat formats. Even Jalen Johnson, who has been a first-round player for most of the season, has not been that productive for fantasy managers. The Hawks host the Warriors on Saturday in their final game of Week 21.

Atlanta’s 11-game win streak came to a screeching halt on Friday, with the Rockets doing a good job of limiting Johnson’s overall impact. The three assists were the fewest he’s had in a game that he’s played at least 20 minutes since October 27. That alone is a reminder of how productive Johnson has been this season. It would be unsurprising if he rebounded with a big night against the Warriors on Saturday.

Jonathan Kuminga (knee) is out for Friday’s game against the Rockets.

Friday’s game is the first of two in as many nights for the Hawks, who host the Warriors on Saturday. Given the history between Kuminga and the Warriors, he should be expected to be available for that matchup. Mouhamed Gueye should step into the frontcourt rotation, but there’s no need to stream him.

Johnson didn’t have his best night shooting the basketball, but he finished one assist shy of a triple-double on Wednesday. Since the All-Star break, the Hawks’ forward has provided second-round value in eight-cat formats, which aligns with his season-long value. And with Atlanta’s 11-game win streak, they’re now one game in the loss column out of sixth in the East.

Alexander-Walker has gotten his Week 21 off to an excellent start. After dropping a career-high 41 points on Monday, he helped extend Atlanta’s win streak to 11 games with another quality showing on Wednesday. The overall stat line may have been modest, especially in comparison to what Alexander-Walker did on Monday, but there’s no need for concern. Since the All-Star break, he has provided first-round value in eight-cat formats.
CJ McCollum

CJ McCollum tallied 24 points (9-of-14 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), seven assists, two steals and one blocked shot in Wednesday’s win over the Mavericks.

After going off for 30 points in a March 14 win over the Bucks, McCollum crashed back to earth in Monday’s win over the Magic. The good news for fantasy managers is that the veteran guard did not take long to turn things around, as he scored 24 points on good percentages against the Mavericks. Add in the assists, and many category league managers will be reasonably pleased with McCollum’s showing on Wednesday.

Kuminga is good to go after initially being listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game. He’ll take on his usual reserve role, which limits the Hawks’ wing’s fantasy value due to the limited playing time.

Kuminga was back on Monday and contributed seven points and eight rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench. He’ll likely play a similar role if he’s available on Wednesday, which isn’t enough for him to make much of a fantasy impact. Mouhamed Gueye will fill the minutes if Kuminga is out.

Daniels’ second double-double in three games included a season-high 12 rebounds for the Hawks’ guard. While his upside as a scorer is a bit limited, the fourth-year guard remains a valuable option in category leagues because of everything else that he brings to the table. After a slow start to the season, Daniels has been a fourth-round player in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break.

The Hawks’ star continues to provide elite fantasy value, and he has been a second-round player in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. The Hawks play three more games in Week 21, starting with the Mavericks on Wednesday.
