Report: Gronkowski likely out vs. Titans

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is not expected to play Sunday against the Titans in Tennessee, according to a Boston Herald report, but ESPN reports that Gronk did travel with the team to Nashville on Saturday.

Gronkowski, listed as questionable on the injury report for the second week in a row with ankle and back injuries, didn't play last Sunday night in a victory over the Packers and "the Pats seem to be hoping that some rest in November will allow Gronkowski to recapture his top form down the stretch," the Herald's Kevin Duffy reported.

ESPN's Mike Reiss was among those reporting that Gronk traveled with the team and his status would likely be determined when the inactives are announced at 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

Gronkowski met with reporters on Friday in Foxboro and while more upbeat than last week, he said injuries have made for a "more challenging" season.

When asked if he felt like he could play, he shrugged his shoulders.

"If Coach [Bill Belichick] thinks I can go," he said, "I can go."

Rookie running back Sony Michel, out since injuring his knee against the Chicago Bears Oct. 21 and listed as questionable, also traveled with the team, Mike Giardi of the NFL Network reported.
