Coleman doesn't travel to Jacksonville with Pats

The Patriots won't be unveiling Corey Coleman on Sunday. The newly acquired wideout didn't make the trip to Jacksonville, according to a source.

Coleman was signed by the Patriots on Monday, agreeing to a one-year deal and cancelling a Tuesday visit with the Eagles.

Even though the Patriots are shallow at wideout, Coleman's absence isn't a jaw-dropper. Coleman was traded to the Bills during training camp but after three weeks the Bills released him citing an ability to get up-to-speed with their playbook. Buffalo took a $3.55 million cap hit with the move.

Expecting Coleman to be in a position to contribute in the Patriots scheme -- which is more challenging than Buffalo's -- after a couple of days of practice would be unrealistic.
