Rozier and Tatum take over in Celtics win over Hawks

BOSTON – Here are the Stars, Studs and Duds from Boston’s 119-110 win over the Atlanta Hawks which extends Boston’s winning streak to three in a row.

STARS

Terry Rozier: He didn’t deliver another triple-double, but Rozier was far and away the best player on the floor for the second time in as many games. He tallied a career-high 31 points to go with seven rebounds.

Dennis Schroder: The Atlanta Hawks are a hot mess of a team, but Schroder offers hope for the future. He led the Hawks with 25 points.

Jayson Tatum: The Celtics rookie was getting it done at both ends of the floor, playing solid defense while impacting the scoring off the dribble, at the rim and from the perimeter. He tallied a career-high 27 points.

Taurean Prince: Recently added to the Rising Stars Challenge game, Prince showcased why he belongs among the top first and second-year players in the NBA. He too had a monster game, finishing with a career-high 31 points for the Hawks.

Jaylen Brown: Solid performance by Brown at both ends of the floor, finishing with 19 points on 7-for-14 shooting.

Aron Baynes: The Celtics got a little bit of everything from Baynes who had 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

DUDS

Kent Bazemore: Atlanta’s $17.5 million man was a non-factor all game. He tallied 11 points but wound up missing seven of his nine shot attempts.
