BRIGHTON, Mass – The Bruins played their first preseason game in China at 2:30 a.m. local time on Saturday morning, and now the states-side Black and Gold crew will open their exhibition schedule on Sunday afternoon.

The Bruins announced their game lineup for Sunday afternoon’s 1 p.m. tilt against the Washington Capitals at TD Garden, and it features an expectedly young lineup with veterans David Krejci, Danton Heinen and Zdeno Chara anchoring things as the only regular Bruins players set to play. Bruins assistant coach Joe Sacco indicated on Saturday afternoon that the Bruins coaching staff was still working out the lineup, but it was expected to be a young, hungry lineup by virtue of the 23 B’s players still currently training in China.

“We have some kids that are 18 years old in their first training camp, so you have to stay patient with them,” said Sacco. “I’m sure things are going very fast for them. The meetings are quick. The practices are quick. So I’m sure things are going very fast. On their end, they need to need to get up speed very quickly because we have two days of practice and then we’re right into a game. “

Here’s the expected lineup for the TD Garden debut for Bruins hockey for the 2018-19 season with a lineup that features some exciting young players like Jakub Lauko, Axel Andersson, Jeremy Lauzon and Zach Senyshyn:

GAME ROSTER:

Forwards: Anton Blidh, Ryan Fitzgerald, Danton Heinen, Cameron Hughes, Joona Koppanen, David Krejci, Karson Kuhlman, Jakub Lauko, Mark McNeill, Marcel Noebels, Zach Senyshyn, Daniel Winnik.
