Draymond goes for tests on elbow after fall on inadvertent hit by Jokic

OAKLAND -- X-rays were negative on Warriors forward Draymond Green, who banged his left elbow in the fourth quarter of a 96-81 loss to Denver Saturday night.

Green likely sustained the blow when he dropped to the floor after being hit in the jaw by what appeared to be an inadvertent elbow from Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic with 7:37 remaining.

Green landed on his backside, but his left elbow also bounced off the floor and he remained down for more than a minute.

No foul was called on the play and the Nuggets scored before the Warriors called a timeout 10 seconds later, after which Green returned to the game.

Green appeared to be good spirits after the game, though an ice pack was wrapped around his right shoulder. He returned to the lineup Friday night after a two-week absence due to soreness in that shoulder.
