As if 2017 wasn't tough enough for the Giants. Now even Alex Trebek is joining in on the jokes.
On Thursday, Hunter Pence responded to the playful hazing. Pence tweeted to "Jeopardy's" account, "I'll take "Got Wrecked by Alex Trebek" for $1000, Alex."

The response stems from Trebek reminding a contestant on the show just how bad the Giants were this season on Wednesday. Tim Asten recounted Pence supporting him last time Asten was on the show, saying, "One of them was Hunter Pence, World Series champion."
Trebek's response: "For the Giants? Yeah, ok, but not this year," with a death stare as cold as the Giants' 64-98 record.
