49ers Super Bowl odds: Vegas gives San Francisco decent chance at title

When the 49ers picked up Nick Bosa with the No. 2 overall pick of the draft this season, it was a "no-brainer," Pro Football Focus analyst Mike Renner said. And no offense to him, but we all knew that.

The additional offensive picks could do great things to make quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo shine, and the odds coming from Sin City are reflecting that.

ESPN posted the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook odds for each of the 32 teams to make the Super Bowl and win their respective divisions.

When it comes to the 49ers, the team's odds are set at 25-1 to win the Super Bowl. They also have 12-1 odds to take home the NFC title and 4-1 odds they take over the NFC West division. Vegas also lists their over/under win total at a respectable 8.

And the odds to make the playoffs overall? Yes: +240. No: -300.

There looks to be some roster adjustments coming ahead, as 49ers' insider Matt Maiocco reports, but he said the "vast majority of the team is set."

The New England Patriots, being the favorites, have 6-1 odds to win the Super Bowl with 3-1 odds to take the AFC division. The offseason darling Cleveland Browns are listed at 16-1 odds of holding the Lombardi trophy. I suppose there is a lot of faith in Baker Mayfield and company -- and rightfully so with the successful season he had last year.

The Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings have the same 25-1 odds as the 49ers of being Super Bowl champions.

Guess we will see what happens until then. And even more importantly, will Adam Levine be back to perform at halftime?
