  • GB Quarterback #10
Love was able to get in a limited session while wearing pads. When asked about Love’s status for Week 3, Packers HC Matt LaFleur told reporters that they would give Love “up until kickoff, 90 minutes.” In other words, Love is going to be a gametime decision. Malik Willis will get the start behind center against the Titans if the team decides to go cautious with Love
  • DAL Wide Receiver #88
Lamb was able to take part in the open portion, and that’s obviously a great sign for his status going forward. Fantasy managers will want to make sure he’s able to take part Friday and check the designation, but at this point it’d be an upset if he isn’t on the field Sunday against the Ravens.
  • HOU Running Back #28
Mixon wasn’t seen at the open portion of practice, and neither was Dameon Pierce, who is also nursing an ankle injury and wasn’t able to play in SNF against the Bears. Mixon picked up his ankle injury during that contest, and hasn’t been at either practice. If Mixon can’t go, Cam Akers will likely dominate the touches for Week 3 against the Vikings, with Dare Ogunbowale getting some work as well.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #12
Collins didn’t practice Wednesday, but it appears that the wideout was just getting a day of maintenance. He’s coming off a monster game where he turned 10 targets into 135 yards with a touchdown, and should be heavily involved again in Week 3 against the Vikings.
  • LAC Quarterback #10
Herbert was wearing the yellow non-contact jersey. Kris Rhim of ESPN did note that the signal-caller wasn’t participating in any drills during the open part of practice, however. Fantasy managers should wait to see the designation for the official designation before making QB decisions, but it does appear likely that the 26-year-old will be on the field for Week 3 against the Steelers at this point.
  • LAR Wide Receiver #10
Kupp suffered a serious high ankle sprain in Week 2 against the Cardinals, and while he avoided injured reserve, it would be surprising if he returns to the field in the next couple weeks. That leaves the Rams offense without its top two wideouts and an injury-marred defense. Patrick Daugherty and Denny Carter talked on the Rotoworld Football Show about what to expect from LA’s offense without Kupp and Puka Nacua.
  • DAL Wide Receiver #88
Lamb is just the latest in a long line of superstar skill position players to go down with an injury. The severity of his ankle issue is unclear at this time, though a DNP to start the week is never a good thing. Still, Lamb is a veteran at this point in his career and doesn’t need a full week of practice in order to suit up. The Cowboys’ Thursday injury report will shed more light on the injury. If Lamb were to miss time, Brandin Cooks and Jalen Tolbert with likely split the No. 1 duties in Dallas. Tolbert, coming off an 82-yard outing in Week 2, is worth stashing in all fantasy formats.
  • GB Quarterback #10
It’s Love’s first practice session since suffering an MCL injury in Week 1. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters earlier this week that it would be “ideal” for Love to practice before returning to action, so even a limited session on Wednesday is a promising sign for his Week 3 status. Malik Willis drew the start in Week 2 and toppled the Colts while throwing for 122 yards. The Packers’ passing game output will rise astronomically once Love returns.
  • TB Running Back #1
Fox Sports’ Greg Auman said it was hard to say if White was a full participant. That he was practicing at all after leaving Sunday’s game with a groin issue is a good sign he’ll suit up in Week 3 against the Broncos. Bucky Irvin would see an increased role against Denver if White is limited or sidelined in Week 3.
  • CLE Tight End #85
Njoku will miss a second game with an ankle injury he picked up in Week 1. Jordan Akins will continue operating as Cleveland’s No. 1 tight end. In Week 2 against the Jaguars, Akins ran a route on 20 of the team’s 38 drop backs and caught his only target for ten yards.
