The Raiders’ lack of a viable starting quarterback, per Schefter, is not considered Pierce’s fault. Pierce, meanwhile, is confident he will return in 2025 for another season at the helm in Vegas. Pierce’s Raiders in 2024 have been solid on defense, allowing the eighth fewest yards and ranking 20th in yards per play allowed entering Week 18. They have been awful on offense, with only the Browns sporting a lower EPA per play than Vegas through Week 17. Schefter’s report suggested Pierce could get one more shot to turn things around in 2025.
  • TEN Running Back #20
He looks likely to get a big workload with Tyjae Spears (concussion) out and has touchdown and yardage-based incentives that could lead the Titans to feed him the ball. Inactive for the Titans are S Amani Hooker, Spears, K Nick Folk, WR Jha’Quan Jackson, OLB Arden Key, RT Jaelyn Duncan, and WR Tyler Boyd. All of those players asides from Jackson was ruled out by injury on Friday.
  • PHI Running Back #26
Barkley’s season officially ends with a rush line of 345-2005-13. The decision to rest the star back ahead of the playoffs was expected after head coach Nick Sirianni said earlier in the week that the team planned to rest several starters in the meaningless Week 18 contests. Fantasy managers in the DFS streets can look to Kenneth Gainwell and Will Shipley as cheap streaming options against the Giants defense.
  • GB Wide Receiver #87
It’s a bit of a surprise even after Doubs was added to the injury report on Saturday. Players almost never miss time with “illness.” That being said, the Pack already have one eye on the postseason and likely reckon they can beat the Bears without one of their top four wideouts. Christian Watson (knee) is active. We will undoubtedly see Doubs in the Wild Card Round. Also inactive for the Packers are LB Quay Walker, S Evan Williams, S Zayne Anderson, DL Brenton Cox Jr. and OT Andre Dillard.
  • ATL Wide Receiver #1
Mooney, who sustained a shoulder injury during practice this week, will miss the final game of the regular season — a must-win matchup for the Falcons. His absence should be a fantasy boost for Kyle Pitts and Ray-Ray McCloud against a terrible Panthers coverage unit. The Falcons also declared CB Kevin King, ILB JD Bertrand, DL Brandon Dorlus, OL Elijah Wilkinson, and T Brandon Parker inactive against Carolina.
  • BAL Wide Receiver #4
Flowers suffered a knee sprain in Baltimore’s Week 18 win over the Browns and did not return. Per Rapoport, he will undergo an MRI today to determine the severity of the issue. The good news is that the win gave Baltimore the AFC North crown and the No. 3 seed. They are likely to face a toothless Steelers team in the opening round of the playoffs, after which Flowers could make his return. Until then, Lamar Jackson will lean on Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews, both of whom scored in Week 18.
  • PHI Quarterback #16
Jalen Hurts is out with a concussion and Kenny Pickett is listed as questionable with a rib injury. He did not practice this week meaning McKee was all but guaranteed to make the start after Friday’s injury report. A third-round pick in the 2023 draft, McKee was a successful pocket passer at Stanford. He also showed well in relief of Pickett last week, throwing for 54 yards and two scores on just four attempts. He will be playing with the backups this week as Philly rests their starters, so we shouldn’t expect much fantasy output from anyone involved.
  • ATL Wide Receiver #1
Rapoport didn’t rule Mooney out but reiterated that it is an uphill battle for the veteran receiver to play this week. Mooney suffered the shoulder injury in practice and was downgraded to a DNP on Friday, a bad sign for his Week 18 outlook. Assuming he doesn’t suit up, KhaDarel Hodge will step into the three-receiver rotation alongside Drake London and Ray-Ray McCloud.
  • TEN Running Back #20
As Schefter notes, Pollard needs 83 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns to reach $450K in incentives from his contract. Facing a Texans team that is likely to pull their starters early, Pollard should be able to get the yardage total and at least one score. Pollard will see plenty of work with Tyjae Spears sidelined for the final game of the year, putting him at the top of the WR2 ranks for Week 18.
  • FA Offensive Coordinator
The team also fired offensive line coach Andy Dickerson. Having already decided to stick with 2023 Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski, someone had to take the fall for this nightmare season. Even with a Sunday’s worth of games left, the Browns are all but guaranteed to finish last in the league in points per game (15.2) and EPA per play (-.18). Dorsey was let go by the Bills during a midseason slump last year, meaning he will be looking for his third team in as many seasons this spring. An offensive coordinator gig is not in the cards given his poor track record over the past two years. Dickerson took over the offensive line coach job from legendary linemen coach Bill Callahan after the former left for Tennessee after the 2023 season.
