The only thing anyone will remember about this game regarding Metcalf is his altercation with a Lions fan at the end of the first half. Metcalf was spotted near the stands jawing with the fan. He then threw a punch at the fan’s face, though the blow appeared to miss. Either way, we’re expecting a suspension for Metcalf. The only question is how long the NFL will put him on ice for. No matter what, fantasy managers should plan on being without him for the championship round next week.

Lawrence stayed red hot against a stout Denver defense. He now has ten total touchdowns over his past two games in a Jacksonville offense that’s running roughshod through all opponents. Lawrence completed the easy throws against the Broncos and fit tough throws into tight windows. He found Parker Washington for six catches, 145 yards, and a score as Washington found himself wide open several times in the second half. Lawrence also connected with Brenton Strange and Travis Etienne for short touchdowns. With head coach and play caller Liam Coen on a heater, look for Lawrence to once again be an elite option in Week 17 against the Colts.

Well, well, well, if it isn’t the consequences of your benching actions. Jeanty wasn’t so involved in the passing game, but he did split out wide and toast Texans linebacker Henry To’oTo’o down the sideline. He added a 51-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter to pull the Raiders within two, and generally was getting more space than he had all week. Concerning stuff for the Texans’ rush defense, down a few players in the interior and Azeez Al-Shaair. The Giants make Jeanty an instant no-thought start in Week 17 anyway, but especially after this game, you’ll be firing him up.

Sutton led the Broncos in all receiving categories as he has re-established himself as Bo Nix’s top target over the past few weeks. He now has three touchdown receptions over his past four games (and nearly came down with a second score on Sunday). Against the Jaguars, Sutton had a whopping 223 air yards and a 27 percent target share. Coming off his second 100-yard game of the 2025 season in Week 15, Sutton once again profiles as a locked-in WR2 in 12-team leagues. He’ll be a must-play in Week 17 against the Chiefs.

Bryant took a massive hit over the middle in the final minute of the Broncos’ loss to Jacksonville. Bo Nix delivered an errant throw and Bryant absorbed a shot to his upper body. He could not get up on his own power, and trainers later put him on a stretcher, loaded him onto a cart, and took Bryant to the locker room for further evaluation. Players from both teams were shaken up, including Bo Nix, who was visibly upset as trainers tended to Bryant, who had five catches for 43 yards before the injury. He would appear to be a long shot to suit up on Thursday against Kansas City.

Estime was widely believed to be the Saints’ No. 1 back headed into Week 16 with Devin Neal and Alvin Kamara sidelined with injuries. But it was gadget player Taysom Hill who easily led the New Orleans backfield with 12 rushes for 42 yards, including all of the goal line work. Estime had sold pass game usage, running a pass route on 34 of the Saints’ 55 drop backs on the day. RB Evan Hull ran ten routes and was not targeted. Estime should be considered a deep league flex play in Week 17 against the Titans.

Minshew needs additional testing, but the injury indeed looked serious when the quarterback got rolled up on the final play of the Chiefs’ opening drive. The 29-year-old spent another quarter trying to play through it before finally admitting defeat. Minshew was wildly ineffective in doing so. We should have final word on his status by Monday afternoon. Chris Oladokun is the next man up for Thursday’s game against the Broncos.

After a few low-volume weeks, McMillan was back to double-digit target volume against the Buccaneers. He operated as the team’s lead wideout and saw multiple end zone targets. Bryce Young was able to find McMillan to convert on one of those end zone targets for a 22-yard score at the end of the first half. Coming off foot/ankle injuries from this past week, McMillan was not hampered by the issues and finishes with 73 receiving yards on his ten targets. He profiles as a fantasy WR2 for Week 17 against the Seahawks.

Olave over the past two weeks has turned his air yards domination into actual fantasy production, which is nice. Tyler Shough, who had 308 yards on the day, targeted Olave relentlessly from start to finish against a Jets secondary that has been shredded in recent weeks. Olave caught one touchdown from Shough and one from 35-year-old gadget player Taysom Hill, who functioned as the centerpiece of the Saints offense for some reason. Olave’s domination of targets and air yards in the New Orleans offense gives him weekly top-10 upside. He’ll get the Titans in Week 17.

McCarthy left Week 16’s game with a right hand injury and did not return. The fact that he was ruled out so quickly led many to believe he suffered a broken bone in his throwing hand. Per Goessling, McCarthy was spotted in a fingerless glove in the locker room after the game. He will undergo more testing on Monday. It sounds like he has a real chance of suiting up in Week 17 against the Lions. If he can’t, Max Brosmer will make another start.
